Accurate tracking of money contributed or pledged is critical to a church. At any time, you should be able to see exactly who has given, how much, and to what fund. You should also be able to monitor and manage amounts pledged verses amounts given toward a capital campaign. Finally, you have to be able to produce the right reports and statements needed to analyze the income of the church, and to fulfill the government’s reporting requirements. Excellerate’s Contribution module enables you to do just that.
The contribution entry screen has been designed to be very quick and efficient requiring the minimum number of keystrokes possible.
The Contribution module records member contributions so that you can print member contribution statements at the end of the year, or as often as you wish. It is not a complete financial system, but will handle the tracking and reporting of all income received from your church members.
If your church does have financial tracking software, you will find that there is very little information that is shared by both systems – really just a few numbers. Since Excellerate is your complete member information database, this approach offers a simple and clean separation of data, and then your financial system can handle the other accounting needs of your church without you having to update member information in two systems.

The contribution check scanner will save you hours of data entry by scanning your contribution checks. This will automatically find the appropriate person in your database, save an image of the check, and print an endorsement on the back! You can load up a batch of checks, then just hit the “Scan Check” button. The check image appears on your screen, and all you have to do is enter the amount.
